Much Love Monday

  • Sunday, February 26, 2012

I'll be digressing from books somewhat for this post. I'm just really excited about a few things I've stumbled across, things that make me inexplicably happy! Check it out after the jump!

Aside from reading, I'm a bit of a foodie. So naturally, when I bit into some soft ginger cookies that a colleague had baked, I just went aaaaaahhhhhhh, heaven! I had to get the recipe and here it is. The colleague mentioned that to add in a little more ground ginger. Will be trying the recipe soon!

I also discovered through that weird way of looking for stuff online for the daughter's school project, this endearing French chef named Raymond Blanc aka The Very Hungry Frenchman. Check out the video below. His utter love for food just put a smile on my face. I am sooo checking out his cookbooks now.

{Sidebar: I discovered food blogging before book blogging (I also used to maintain a blog: aloimeansyummy.blogspot.com but that's another story isn't it?)}

Now another video I am loving a lot is this. No need for babbling, just watch and enjoy!

Wishing you all a wonderful week of good eats, good reads, and a sense of wonder!

What are you loving?

  4. So much to l♥ve about your post - and posts this week! The vintage anatomy pop-up book, wow. And the bento bookmark - that is just so kawaii, l♥ve! The books-to-movie post was also an inspired idea; I hadn't known The Help was first a book. Finally, your food blog is so much fun - jumping shrimp! I wish I had more time in the day to subscribe - but I will try to check in from time to time!
