Feature and Follow Friday || Book Blogger Hop

I've fallen off the map with Friday memes but let's give this a whirl, shall we? I'd love to go check out some blogs to get me out of my funk!

Feature and Follow Friday

Q: Favourite literary quote?

My answer:

“It is nothing to die. It is frightful not to live.”
- Victor Hugo, Les Misérables

Book Blogger Hop

Q: When you are writing your reviews, do you write them as you are reading or wait until you are completely done with the book?

My answer: I tried writing notes as I read to make it easy when I write the review ... but it interfered with my enjoying the book. So now I just put stickies or ... gasp ... dogear ... to make sure I know where to flip back to the good parts.

That was fun! You can follow me using any of the icons up in the top right of the blog! Please leave a comment and a link so I can go check out your answers! Happy Friday!

  10. Love the quote! :) I really want to read that book, but 19th century novels intimidate me with their fancy-pants language and thick bindings...LOL New follower on bloglovin' and twitter. Visit me at:

  11. Ooo, I like the quote. And I am with you, I just can't take notes while reading. If something really sticks out I like to "bookmark" it like you do and come back later. Getting lost in the book is the whole point, right? New bloglovin follower.

  12. I know a lot of people that sticky note. I have mostly been reading on my Nook so I just highlight and add notes using the function.

I really enjoyed your chosen quote too :D Thanks for sharing!

  13. Love the quote you chose, although I'm still afraid of death, eep. I usually write my reviews when I'm completely done reading a book. Sometimes, I write down a thought or two when I update my reading status on Goodreads, but I'm usually too lazy to do even that. I'm behind in writing reviews, too, so I probably should start writing them before finishing the book.
