Feature and Follow Friday || Book Blogger Hop

I've been absent, I know. Hello to new followers -- you can check out my icon collection in my sidebar and choose how you'd like to follow! Or just follow me on Bloglovin'.

If you're an old follower, thanks for popping over again!

Old and new, feel free to poke around. Plus I have a GIVEAWAY for a foodie memoir right now ... so check that out!

This week's question is:
Q: If you could only have ONE – one book – for the rest of your life. Don’t cheat…what would it be?

My answer: I won't cheat. I just won't answer :) Hahahaha ...

Ok, ok. I'm going to have to say The Count of Monte Cristo because it's got so much happening in it: action, romance, and lots of good lessons. Plus it's set in France! What's not to like? I don't think I'd ever tire of reading it!

This week's question is:
Have you ever ended up reading a book with its last or last few pages missing? What book was it? And how did you manage to get to the end?

My answer:
What a strange question! I don't think that's ever happened to me (why would anyone even dare tear pages out a book? That just makes me *mad*). I have had instances where I stay somewhere for a visit, or I borrow a random book and never finish reading it. Most of my abandoned books are classified for that very reason ... and I never get around to finishing reading!

Have a wonderful Friday evening, and an even better weekend!

  6. I've heard that the Count of Monte Cristo is really good. But I haven't yet felt it's pull to make me buy it.

    Hope that you enjoy it!

Can we call the police now and have this blog busted? Nyahahaah! This is a dystopian world where the law is generally revolving around a 1-book policy. Various punishments will be inflicted to you for this crime.
