#BookmarkMonday (24): Letterpress

Aren't these just gorgeous? These letterpress bookmarks are made by TagTeamTompkins*. I'm not sure where to start -- the bibiliophile quotes (oh so true!), the silhouettes of people reading, the fact that these are bookmarks, that they're inexpensive but look expensive. Ok, let me stop. Wait. Even the back of the bookmarks look great!

  2. They are absolutely beautiful! I love the simplicity and elegance at the same time. Collecting bookmarks is one of the few collections I keep.

  4. Those are gorgeous. I'm bad about bookmarks though - somehow I lose them... so most of the time when I'm reading a bound book I'm just using whatever scrap of paper is handy. :)

    1. Yeah, that's what I do too. Not that I don't still love a good bookmark... but I can't tell you the last time I actually bought one.

    2. Funny you two should point that out. I have a mix of "real" bookmarks but I usually end up using the packing slip, or the receipt, or whatever is lying nearby. It looks horrible, but what do you do when you're in a pinch? So I guess this meme is the ideal reading me ;)
