Banned Books Week: Celebrating the Freedom to Read
September 21-27, 2014

Each year, when Banned Books Week rolls around, I am constantly reminded that I am privileged to be able to choose what I want to read. I think this is quite profound, a truth that I should be more thankful for.
I've started up my list, crossed off what I've read, linked up what I've reviewed, and hopefully I can start reading more off this list. There is more, obviously, since this is only for two decades! But baby step, baby steps.

  1. This is a great idea, although I've only read 11 on the first list and 3 on the second.

    1. I can't seem to get definitive lists beyond these two. I saw the PDFs with the the lists per year I sort of balked at the work of cutting and pasting ;)

Feel free to copy the excel files! This sounds like another reading challenge to me ...
