Oh the things out there! #FreebieFriday

I spend a ridiculous amount of time online and come across so many freebies floating around. I'll compile them and give them out to you when a Friday rolls around for my bookish (and not-so-bookish) version of #FreebieFridays.

Giveaway of Karin Bosman's Spitting on Hans' Tosti (two copies, open international). A potentially free book for you, if you win it! This a firsthand account of sexual harassment in the workplace. One of those topics you ignore ... unless it actually happens to you or someone close to you. Go enter!

Canva - a free online design program that even non-designers will love! Lots of great templates which take a lot of guesswork out of sizes. Tons of free content including photos, icons, fonts, and more. There's also a pro version but I find that the freebie version already packs a punch for my blogging needs. I created the header on Canva, as well as a lot of my blog graphics you see!

Creative Market* - this is among my first go-to's for design inspiration, templates, logos, photography, fonts and anything digital. I willingly part with my money here because the quality of the work is waaay up there. For example, my blog template is made by the amazing Maira Gall*. Unsplash - looking for stock photography that's got oomph? Unsplash photos are totally, absolutely free. If you love getting freebie by email, sign up and get 10 new photos every 10 days.

Website Grader - curious where your website/blog needs improvement? Run this little audit and get some concrete suggestions. I only got a grade of 62 so while it passed, I can definitely see some areas I can work on .. maybe come Bloggiesta time!

whos.amung.us - I've known of this free little widget for years and love it! Know how many people are online real-time (it's that little red tab on the side) ... and even know where they're from if you install the map widget!

NASA's giving away brilliant travel posters! I know, so random. I had to add this because it's too cool not to share!
