It was quite an elaborate charade and because I hate to give spoilers, I dare not say anything else ;)guiltlessreadinghttp://guiltlessreading.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1712356914314014189.post-71795205666926884342016-03-07T09:58:02.527-05:002016-03-07T09:58:02.527-05:00I saw the movie before reading the book, too. I thought it seemed that they did this in the hopes that he would solve his mystery and maybe heal from his trauma.JoanneMarie Faustnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1712356914314014189.post-41898459621221303772016-02-14T11:56:21.644-05:002016-02-14T11:56:21.644-05:00Aww, that's too bad! I better understood the backstory in the book though so yes, maybe some things are lost or not as obvious in the movie.guiltlessreadinghttp://guiltlessreading.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1712356914314014189.post-77300266655919952552016-02-14T06:29:35.628-05:002016-02-14T06:29:35.628-05:00I saw this movie on a flight, which is probably th...I saw this movie on a flight, which is probably the reason I watched it until the end. I thought it was absolutely terrible! Maybe because the whole situation was scary and horrible. I agree there was a twist at the end, which came as a huge surprise, but I could not see a reason (unless they thought this was the only way to make him confess) to put all this charade into action. Maybe the book makes it more believable.Lisbeth Ekelofnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1712356914314014189.post-14785969826534225332016-02-13T10:48:28.248-05:002016-02-13T10:48:28.248-05:00It's confusing so the payoff is really great a...It's confusing so the payoff is really great at the end! :)guiltlessreadinghttp://guiltlessreading.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1712356914314014189.post-73742177075251945632016-02-13T10:47:34.099-05:002016-02-13T10:47:34.099-05:00Loved the movie! It's a book that I think I need to reread one of these days just so I can be less confused by it. I would rate the book very highly.Techeditornoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1712356914314014189.post-38500291826924211892016-02-12T23:31:15.548-05:002016-02-12T23:31:15.548-05:00The movie was fantastic. I grabbed the book last week and wonder if I might spot clues in it that would have hinted at what was really happening. Should be a good read.laura thomasnoreply@blogger.com
