10 Things You Didn’t Know About Kim Cano
  1. I was in a hot air balloon crash as a child. This caused my fear of flying as an adult. Not too big a fan of falling from the sky.
  2. I sailed with my brother and Dad in a 26 foot boat from Fort Lauderdale to Bimini, Bahamas in a storm on New Year’s Eve. There were 12 foot waves and the trip ended up taking 17 hours.
  3. I played the harp for a while as a teen, a Lyon & Healy Troubador student edition. I went through a short musical phase.
  4. I used to have a health problem called fibromyalgia. Was told there was no cure and would always deal with chronic pain. Ended up being healed by a practitioner of myofascial release.
  5. I like animals more than people and donate money to the ASPCA to help homeless pets.
  6. I was a punk rocker in high school, often being sent home for looking too much like my idol at the time, Ms. Siousxie Sioux from Siouxsie & the Banshees.
  7. I meditate every day with CDs from a place called Centerpointe Institute.
  8. I’m a vegetarian and animal activist.
  9. I don’t have kids, just one awesome cat. He’s the furry love of my life.
  10. If I could see one thing happen before I die, it would be the end of animal euthanasia for unadopted cats & dogs.
