#TopTenTuesday: 10 Books I Recently Added to My TBR

Top Ten Tuesdays are extremely popular in the book blogging community and I've read many posts but have only joined in once before! For March 31, the topic is Ten Books You Recently Added To Your To-Be-Read List and I thought I had an interesting bunch so here they are:

Hausfrau by Jill Alexander Essbaum

I blame you lovely bloggers for writing such great reviews! And I blame the Socratic Salon for driving the point home by featuring the book in the inaugural discussion!

The Incarnations by Susan Barker

I have this on my nightstand already. The promise of a so-called "Chinese Midnight's Children" is probably a tall order but will obviously make for some interesting reading.

Festival of Insignificance by Milan Kundera

Kundera with a new book? Yes, please! The last time I read any of his work is probably a decade ago!

The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo

I am reading this right now and am hesitant to say anything about the KonMari Method as I haven't done everything it suggests. I have gotten wonderful results in my sock drawer though!

Find Momo from Coast to Coast by Andrew Knapp

I received a review request for this second edition of Find Momo, a photography book featuring the adorable dog Momo in a Where's Waldo concept. I loved the first book so it wasn't hard to say yes.

The Bookseller by Cynthia Swanson

Not sure why I added this to Goodreads (a giveaway?), probably because it looks interesting.

The Buried Giant by Kazuo Ishiguro

Well, because it's by Ishiguro. Again, another author who I haven't read in a long time.

Better than Before: Mastering the Habits of Our Lives by Gretchen Rubin

I really enjoyed The Happiness Project and the principles Rubin stress are so simple and so commonsensical that I am sure that her new book will provide the more useful, no-nonsense advice. 

God Help the Child by Toni Morrison

I always have such a hard time reading Morrison but it never puts me off. I often just need to get into the zone and then surround myself with chick lit after.

Baudolino by Umberto Eco

This has been on my virtual TBR for ages and I'm happy to say I now have a copy courtesy of a fundraiser book sale, so now I have no excuses to graduate this to my real TBR.
