#Friday56 & #BookBeginnings: D is for Dahl

A is for ...
Aardvark - Every A-Z must begin with an aardvark (an African burrowing mammal with long flappy ears and a long nose.) Although Roald Dahl didn't feature an aardvark in any of his books, he did invent some crazy creatures--look out for Whangdoodles, Snozzwhangers, and the Pink-Spotted Scrunch.

GGG - When translated into Italian, the Big Friendly Giant becomes Il Grande Gigante Gentile. So in Italy, the book is called GGG!

I've never read this book ... just flipped through it. And who can resist Roald Dahl? Certainly not me! I have so many favourites that I can't choose just one. I love Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The BFG, and Matilda equally.

What's your fave Roald Dahl book?
