Yes, I am guilty over my long silence with the hop! But here I am again, in the hopes of reviving my floundering blog which has a few reviews in the works, including the incredible The Reader and the very jolly biography of larger-than-life Julia Child: A Life. I also received from LibraryThing a copy of Pieta by William Zink, who is a wonderful, wonderful writer. So watch for these reviews!
What am I currently reading? Aha ... it's a Roald Dahl I saved from the curb! I've read only Tales of the Unexpected so I was curious how his other adult books are ... so far, so good.
And in the spirit of the Book Blogger hop, here's a sprinkling of some good ol' book bloggers out there:
- The Teen Bibliophile: It reads like me when I was teenager!
- Geek on the Brink: Currently reading Truman Capote, one of my faves, so this is a kindred soul!
- Books are a Girl's Best Friend: I agree. (Besides, what do you do with diamonds?) And she loves historical fiction, me three!
Just popped in via the hop to say hi! I'm a new follower and look forward to your reviews. Have a great weekend:)

Ah, Roald Dahl is great! Have you read Switch Bitch??
ReplyDeleteI love Roald Dahl's short story collections. I've been a fan of Roald Dahl since I was a kid so discovering his work for adults was a wonderful discovery.
ReplyDeleteRoof Beam Reader - No I haven't read Switch Bitch yet, only am just discovering all of Dahl's adult books! Thanks for the recommendation!
ReplyDeleteBlooey, I know what you mean. Dahl is waaaay more than Charlie and the Choco Factory!
