Roald Dahl's food goodies ... for real!

  • Saturday, October 20, 2012

All that fictional food in Roald Dahl's books are actually real. I just want to feast my eyes on the Quentin Blake artwork of the packaging; I have no idea whether they taste as good as they seem in the books ... but we can always imagine whizzpopping or having a cake with Matilda, right? :)

{You can buy them at Tesco, if you're in the UK.}

  1. I don't know if I would ever try any of this but I'm sure my kids would! They love Roald Dahl.

  2. This is so amazing! It's fun to know that I can actually experience the things that I yearned to experience while reading those books. I'm not from the UK, but maybe someday I can go and have a taste! :)

  3. Haha, I haven't seen these before (though I rarely go into Tesco... may have to...). I had the Roald Dahl recipe book as a child, actually I still have it - and my dad used to make the Bruce Bogtrotter cake from Matilda every so often. It was AMAZING. So, so rich.
