#BookmarkMonday: Vintage book spines





Welcome to Week 32 of #BookmarkMonday, the 2013 Edition.

My heart sort of skipped a beat when I saw these vintage book spines made into bookmarks. But I stopped and appreciated when I read through the full post over at Green Paper -- remember do this only with books that are beyond repair, please.

    I'm torn between loving these and feeling bad for the books they were removed from. Either way they are pretty and you're right only do it to books beyond repair.

    I kind of had the same reaction when I fist saw these bookmarks and wondered about the books they had been removed from. It's a great idea, though, and at least something lives on from a book that has seen better days.

    I've seen these and love them. I just wouldn't be able to do it myself. I'd feel tons of guilt.
