Hello hello hello! Hello to new followers, be sure to check out my icon collection in my sidebar and choose how you'd like to follow! Or just follow me on Bloglovin'. If you're an old follower, welcome back!
This week's question is:
It is up to you to do a Kickstarter campaign for your favorite book! Who are you casting for the main characters?
My answer:
I have too many favourite books so this is a toughie! Instead, I'm picking one of my favourite reads this year (and there are many!) which I want to be made into a movie. I'd love to see The Perfume Collector by Kathleen Tessaro go on the big screen. For the tempestuous French Eva d'Orsey, I am thinking Marion Cotillard (love everything about her!). For young spunky Englishwoman Grace Monroe, maybe Saoirse Ronan or Emma Watson (although Kate Winslet a la Sense and Sensibility would've worked even better!)
This week's question is:
Are you in a book club? How does your book club choose books? How far in advance do you choose?
My answer: No, I'm not in a book club. Reading remains a solitary business for me. I wonder how I would feel about being in a book club ... I think it may pressure me somehow!
Have a wonderful Friday evening, and an even better weekend!

DeleteHopping through. I really liked being in a bookclub when I lived in California last year. It got me to read books I wouldn't normally but mostly because it was fun to hang out with friends.

I can definitely see the appeal of book clubs. I guess I just haven't found my own little circle!
DeleteLove your casting for this one, though I agree with you about Kate Winslet. But I'm partial to her anyway.

Berls @ Fantasy is More Fun
I am soo partial to Kate. When I watched her in The Reader and Revolutionary Road, she just went waaaaay up there in my list of great actresses!
DeleteHaven't read the book, but I love Marion Cotillard as an actress. I am also partial to Soairse Ronan, not because I like her more than Emma Watson, but because she seems pretty good as a character actress.

Kat @ Books Are Bread
I couldn't decide between Soairse and Emma, so I put them both. I think they could both pull off a spunky English gal!
Delete(Following you back!)
I looooove Marion Cotillard, though I haven't read that book. She's so talented.
