They're actually bookmarks! This set of 8 books (very obscure ones) by Jack Spade, are a set of bookmarks that are perforated, ready to tear as needed. No books were harmed in the making of these bookmarks!

      I know! I know the other example of book spine bookmarks was a bit of a shocker :)
