Travel the World in Books Readathon Discussion Post (Day 7): Yum! Food, glorious food! #TTWIBRAT

I can't tell you how much I looooove to eat (oh, wait, I just did! ;)) I'm tickled pink that I'm hosting today's discussion post! I've already posted about my own trip down memory lane in Bogor, Indonesia! I'm not ashamed to say I ate like a madwoman :)

But hey, this isn't about me ...this year we want to get YOU talking about your favorite books, authors, genres, and characters. Every day we'll have a different topic of discussion. You can write a new blog post, link up a couple of old posts that are pertinent to the topic and/or leave comments answering our questions. Linkups will be open through 11/7/15 (a week after the readathon ends to give you plenty of time to write a new post!).

Today's Discussion Topic is ...

All about food! Tell us your favorite international food to eat, favorite recipes or cookbooks, or your favorite fiction or nonfiction featuring food from around the world.

Link up your discussion post!

Today, head over and share your FAVORITE INTERNATIONAL FOOD/COOKBOOKS.

So here are my photos for today: a cookbook that our family has had for maybe 15 years. I bought it in the Philippines for about $7. Ken Hom's Foolproof Asian Cookery has so many easy and yummy recipes from mainly southeast Asia. One of our fave recipes is the Indonesian prawn skewers. Oh they're to die for! They're sweet, spicy and marinaded in coconut milk ... and you know that anything grilled always tastes special, right?

I look forward to seeing your photos! :)
