“How many books are currently in your To-Be-Read (TBR) Pile?”
Wow. I have NO idea. If I kept track, the sheer number would probably stress me out. I estimate it to be in the several hundreds. I do know that each time I see a list, a review, or even just look at library shelves I say to myself "I should read that." Kind of like: I should eat more veggies. But much, much more exciting!
Over at Parajunkee's View, check out her featured blogger Rhiannon Paille who is bubbling over with how much love Parajunkee has sent her way. I hope you get the the 500 fans soon! (I love her blog template, btw. So angsty!)
As for this week's question:
Genre Wars! What's your favorite genre and which book in that genre made it your favorite?
This is a toughie for me. I have such an eclectic reading list that it'd be like choosing between ice cream and chocolate! So I'm going to give you a few, some linked to my reviews (ok, cop-out!):
- Breakfast at Tiffany's by Truman Capote
- Historical fiction: The Reader by Bernhard Schlink,The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne
- Fantasy: The Harry Potter series, His Dark Materials Trilogy, and Coraline by Neil Gaiman
Have a great weekend!
Hopping through. New GFC and Twitter follower! Harry Potter turned me onto fantasy. I also like Neil Gaiman.

I have a Never-ending list of TBR's :)
I read The Reader recently and it was really good. I have not read Breakfast at Tiffany's, I should add it to my TBR list.

I only know the rough number because I record books I own on Goodreads...otherwise I lose track and might buy another copy or forget I realy wanted to read something at one point! I'm even struggling to keep that up to date though!
ReplyDeleteI'm just popping over (a little belatedly) from Parajunkee. I hope you have a nice weekend.

ReplyDeleteWhat's my favorite genre and which book in that genre made it your favorite? Yikes. My favorite genre as of RIGHT NOW is chick lit. Wait, is that a genre? :P I got into it because of Jennifer Weiner's "Good in Bed." LOVED that book!
Your answer is great...I only have 29 books waiting to be read...physical books that is. I hope I answered the question correctly.
